Touchwood’s Plantation in Thailand

Thailand’s Prachin Buri province is an area of 4,762 square kilometers and borders the famous Khao Yai National Park where flora and fauna are protected, including some of the last remaining forest Agarwood trees.

The Prachin Buri climate varies between wet and dry seasons with average temperatures between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius and rainfall of 2,000mm per year. The province has large stands of plantation trees such as eucalyptus and teak as well as Touchwood’s managed forestry plantations of Agarwood, the largest in Thailand.

The province enjoys a mixture of traditional village lifestyles and farming with a number of international manufacturers and industrial parks thanks to its close proximity to Bangkok and ports. Prachin Buri province is also the location of the Touchwood Group company Agarwood Technologies Co., Ltd. which processes harvested Agarwood trees.
