The signing of the Kyoto Protocol in February 2005 signified a turning point as the world began to consider the effects of climate change seriously. Forests are considered to be an essential agent to prevent climate change yet they continue to be depleted at an astounding rate. Action needs to be taken now to reverse the damaging effects of unsustainable activities.

Touchwood is perfectly poised to play an important role in many areas as the world forum identifies ways in which we can reverse the effects of our own actions. Working in harmony with many organisations in the same way we have worked with individuals for more than a decade, the Touchwood Group looks to strengthen its ties with both commercial and government organisations to achieve a common good.

The choices and actions we take now will have a profound effect on the condition of the planet. Where we once considered our grandchildren’s legacy, we must now consider the results in the context of our own life time.
