Land Selection
Once a species has been decided, the land selected for planting is critical for the plantation’s success.
Touchwood rigorously assesses each potential site for location including the specie’s native range, topography, altitude, climate, rainfall, water storage, utilities, access, security, staffing, natural and man made risk factors, risk mitigation, community feedback, government and legal status.
Only sites which provide optimum conditions for the species to be planted are chosen to become plantations.
